Hunting Blocks on Stewart Island is a popular destination for hunting expeditions, primarily as it is home to the southernmost population of whitetail (Virginian) deer in the world. On top of this, many of the blocks are situated close to the coast – perfect if you want to add a bit of fishing and diving into the mix. Not to mention the stunning scenery and several specific huts reserved for hunters only.
